These female mixed martial arts gloves seem to be preferred by
many women.
You may be looking at this glove and saying these are not
women's but the gloves do come in womens' sizes.
I like to talk with the athletes about products. I've
reviewed these and they get top billing from everyone we've
heard from.
They are for both men and women. They have specific sizes
for women in their black/pink and blue/white gloves. The big
difference in this glove and most grappling gloves is the
bar. This can make it difficult to grapple for some people,
yet others just love this glove.
This glove has a different type of wrist strap. These
gloves have the most wrist support of all the gloves we reviewed.
The wrist strap goes a bit higher than most of the other gloves,
the UFC
gloves included.
This
training glove is made of leather. The padding is made
from foam inserts. The pads are placed where you typically
strike. Provided you strike correctly!
The grip is cushioned. Again, there is a bar in the palm of
these gloves. Some people love this some do not. This women's
gloves comes in two sizes. The s/m is pretty small and we've
had some returns on this one due to the small size.
These retail for $59.99.
Training
Once you have your gloves you may want to look at some
training that you can do at home. By just going to the
Damage Control site you get some free grappling tips. The
videos are well done and they show you how to use the techniques
in an actual fight. These of course are all MMA moves, made to
make you a better fighter.
Eric Wong trains UFC fighters such as Jeff Joslin, and he wants to train you as well.
He believes there is a "better" way to train and I agree. You'll train twice a week.
That is great for recovery and to have more time for skills training. I like what Eric is doing and recommend his book.
